Character Awakening Guide: Priority and Investment Strategy
A comprehensive guide to character awakening covering priority characters, investment strategy, and resource management for efficient progression.
Understanding awakening levels
Awakening (A0-A6) provides significant power boosts to characters. Each level unlocks new abilities or enhances existing ones.
A0: Base character with no awakening bonuses.
A1-A2: Quality-of-life improvements and minor damage boosts. Most characters feel "complete" here.
A3-A4: Significant power spikes. Many characters unlock their best rotations at A4.
A5-A6: Luxury upgrades for min-maxers. Diminishing returns for most players.
Priority characters for awakening
Tier 1 (Awaken First): Verna (A6), Gabi (A4 or A6), Sera (A6). These are your main DPS characters who benefit most from awakening.
Tier 2 (Awaken Second): Ellie (A4 or A6), Reina (A2), Benjamin (A4). Strong sub DPS or secondary carries.
Tier 3 (Awaken When Available): Flare (A2), Narae (A2 or A4), Ophelia (A1 or A2). Supports who work fine at lower awakening.
Tier 4 (Low Priority): Francis, Mabel, Esther. Either niche or need specific team compositions.
Resource management
Focus all awakening materials on one character at a time. Spreading materials across multiple characters slows progression.
Use the Legendary Conquest Shop and event rewards to stockpile awakening materials.
Do not waste materials on characters you don't use regularly. Future characters may be better investments.
